220 North Tryon is Uptown Charlotte’s premier wedding and special event venue.
Please note that due to safety concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, 220 North Tryon is not booking events through summer of 2021. We welcome discussing your late 2021 event.
We offer truly unique, art-filled event spaces, including a gallery, rooftop vertical garden terrace and a solarium with stunning city views.
Let us make your wedding, rehearsal dinner, anniversary party or other special celebration an event to remember. We also host business gatherings such as nonprofit fundraisers, corporate receptions and retreats.
Revenue generated from 220 North Tryon allows Foundation For The Carolinas to share our building with the community.
"Our favorite part of the day was cocktail hour on the terrace. The view of uptown and the garden wall created the most beautiful backdrop for greeting guests and celebrating the start of our marriage."

"Our favorite part of our wedding day was marrying my best friend in the city where we met and having everyone we love the most in one absolutely gorgeous room."
- AJ & Daina
"Foundation For The Carolinas was our dream wedding venue! From the natural light throughout the space, to the gorgeous city views and green wall terrace, we could not have asked for a more romantic or beautiful space to tie the knot in the city where we fell in love."
