FFTC Connects is a convening of Foundation for the Carolinas fundholders, community partners and invited guests designed to explore how Artificial Intelligence is reshaping philanthropy, nonprofit organizations and the communities they serve. Through an engaging conversation with thought leaders, attendees will examine both the opportunities and challenges AI presents for advancing community impact.

Advocacy doesn’t have to mean hiring a lobbyist, launching a major campaign, or showing up at the state capitol with a bullhorn. In fact, some of the most effective advocacy starts with something much simpler: building relationships, becoming a trusted source of information, and making sure the people who make decisions know your organization and the impact you make.

Rhythm & Roots, the annual fundraiser for the Foundation For Black Philanthropy (FFBP), brings unstoppable energy to the stage with a night of powerhouse performances and purpose in celebration of the generosity, leadership, and cultural legacy that continue to shape Charlotte’s Black community. 

Back by popular demand, Al Jasper & Friends set the tone with a soulful pre-show experience followed by Gena Does Tina, a high energy Tina Turner tribute led by powerhouse Carolina vocalist Gena Chambers.
