Nick DeLorenzo

Nick DeLorenzo oversees Information Technology, Digital Innovation, and works closely with Foundation departments and initiatives to position them for success from a technology perspective.

Nick joined Foundation for the Carolinas in 2025 after serving as Chief Innovation Officer of a technology consulting company and a number of leadership roles and advisory technology positions for media and nonprofit organizations for nearly two decades. In those roles he has received recognition numerous times for his efforts in digital innovation and technology and software development. His areas of expertise include systems integration and architecture, technology process and change management and cybersecurity.

Nick attended Pennsylvania State University and is originally from Mountain Top, Pa. He relocated to North Carolina in 2013.

Nick is an enthusiast of European sports cars, speaks fluent Italian, and enjoys travel and vintage technology.
