The Choir School at St. Peters - James M. Rogers Endowment Fund
The Choir School at St. Peter’s James M. Rogers Endowment was established in 2008 in memory of Captain Rogers, an Army ROTC graduate, a Ranger and a member of an elite Special Forces team called Delta Force, who was killed in a training mission in 1999. The attributes of a chorister in The Choir School at St. Peter’s, grace, poise, respect, discipline, teamwork and commitment, are attributes Jim valued and possessed in abundance. As a very special way to honor his spirit and his values, Jim’s mother made a significant initial charter gift to create this endowment for The Choir School at St. Peter’s. This fund will support The Choir School’s mission of providing superior music education and performance opportunities for talented young men and women in Charlotte-Mecklenburg.
