2017 Total Grants $105,717

 

$20,000 to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County to provide a grief education and counseling program serving Iredell County’s children.

$20,000 to Iredell-Statesville Public Schools to provide students within a dual language immersion program that gives them the opportunity to be bilingual and biliterate by the end of 5th grade.

$12,217 to N.B. Mills Elementary School to increase the amount and quality of reading by providing access to books, ultimately leading to higher reading achievement by the students at N.B. Mills.

$3,500 to North Carolina Symphony Society to perform one-full orchestra, curriculum-based music education concert for more than 900 elementary and middle-school students during the 2017-2018 school year.

$20,000 to PDYF Success Institute to improve literacy by implementing a reading program for students through technology and increased access to books.

$30,000 to PowerCross to expand the Rockin’ Readers program by implementing achievement goals and providing academic support for students.
