The COVID-19 pandemic, as well as protests for racial equality stemming from the death of George Floyd and other recent violence against Black people, have had a dramatic impact on corporate social responsibility efforts. Consumers and employees have a greater expectation for action – and greater scrutiny of those actions. For corporate affairs and responsibility professionals, this is a time like no other.

Rich Maiore, president of Rocket Social Impact – a national corporate social responsibility consulting agency – shared research on how companies are responding to recent events. He also highlighted and shared examples of how companies can assess and revise corporate social responsibility efforts through the lens of racial inequality.

Presented by FFTC's Center for Corporate Philanthropy and the Charlotte Community Affairs Professionals (CCAP).
