In America, one in three women will be a victim of domestic violence at some point in her life. Every day, an average of three women are killed by a current or former intimate partner. The Jamie Kimble Foundation for Courage teaches healthy relationship behaviors to youth and young adults, and supports education and awareness programs in public and private schools, colleges and universities, in faith-based settings and the workplace. JKFC funds partners who research and develop best practices for preventing domestic violence, and provides catalyst funding for select prevention efforts. JKFC also supports research that identifies the most effective uses of prevention funding in North Carolina.
