Women’s Impact Fund

About the Fund
The Women’s Impact Fund was established in 2003 as a special program of Foundation For The Carolinas. Since that time, members have pooled their resources, energy and wisdom to make a difference in Mecklenburg County. Through the power of collective giving, members have the ability to make bigger impacts by addressing some of the area’s most difficult challenges. Beyond altruism, members also find value in the social and networking aspects of being part of a dynamic philanthropic group.

Through 2013, the Women's Impact Fund awarded 44 grants totaling nearly $3.4 million across five giving categories: Arts & Culture, Education, Environment, Health, and Human Services.

On January 1, 2010, the Women's Impact Fund became an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
