Foundation For The Carolinas offers three Centers for Giving through which specialized teams of financial and philanthropic experts work to meet our clients' diverse needs.

Center for Personal and Family Philanthropy

The Center for Personal and Family Philanthropy is designed to meet the unique needs of individuals and families. As our region continues to grow, so does the number of individuals and families demonstrating a commitment to philanthropy and giving back to the community that helped them succeed. Through our Center for Personal and Family Philanthropy, we serve individuals and families, as well as supporting foundations and private foundations, with an approach that emphasizes nonprofit accountability and measurable outcomes.

Designed to help individuals and families simplify their charitable giving, this Center offers expert guidance in defining a philanthropic mission, structuring charitable gifts, putting mission into action, creating a permanent legacy and involving the next generation. Center for Nonprofits

Offering a range of professional financial and investment support services, the Center lends expert guidance in helping build endowments, manage investments, provide bookkeeping and work with donors on gift planning to secure the organization’s future. With the Foundation, a professional team of financial and philanthropic experts takes care of the details, freeing nonprofits to concentrate on providing vital programs and services.

Center for Corporate Philanthropy

The Center for Corporate Philanthropy is tailored to meet the charitable initiatives of Carolina businesses. Our corporate community continues to grow at an unprecedented rate. The Foundation has created the Center for Corporate Philanthropy in response to the increasing number
of corporations seeking our assistance with charitable giving. We are a creative, cost-effective and tax-efficient way for the corporate sector to invest in the community.

Designed to help businesses manage community affairs and corporate giving programs, this Center offers expertise in defining philanthropic goals and objectives, establishing a giving program, setting up a charitable fund and leveraging a charitable investment in the community. We also find ways to involve employees in the process. Our team of financial and philanthropic experts can help foster employee giving, support local causes or operate a corporate foundation—to maximize efficiency and results.
