Our Building
Foundation For The Carolinas is located in the Luski ♦ Gorelick Center for Philanthropy at 220 North Tryon Street in uptown Charlotte.
With multiple conference and board rooms, the building serves not only as an office for Foundation staff, but also as a gathering place and civic hub for the philanthropic community. An art gallery on the first floor of the building, made possible by contributions from the Sonia and Isaac Luski and Rose and Abraham Luski families, opened in November 2011. The gallery is free of charge and open to the public Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Spaces within the building are available for rental for weddings, receptions, corporate retreats and other events. For more information, click here or contact Dean Jordan at djordan@fftc.org 704.973.4561.
Carolina Theatre Park
The corner of North Tryon and Sixth Street now offers tranquil green space for those who visit, live and work in uptown Charlotte. Foundation For The Carolinas has converted the formerly empty lot adjacent to its headquarters into a “pocket park”, providing greenery, art and benches for our community to enjoy.
