Employee Support Programs

Foundation For The Carolinas supports employee hardship and disaster relief funds through its Center for Corporate Philanthropy. Through these programs, businesses can provide grants to employees who are experiencing financial hardship resulting from unexpected life events, such as severe illness, or are victims of natural disasters, or both. Employee hardship and disaster relief programs also provide a way for employees to support their fellow teammates during times of need.

Foundation For The Carolinas staff work directly with employees seeking aid, offering counsel, referrals and application assistance, and providing expertise in IRS regulations.

Grant seekers: Not all applications are available through this website. Please check with your human resources department to see if your company has an employee relief program administered by Foundation For The Carolinas.

Blue Assist Fund provides individual assistance to Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina employees experiencing an emergency hardship or disaster.

BNE Helping Hands is an employee assistance fund that provides financial help to Boddie-Noell employees in times of need.  It is designed to assist employees who may be experiencing an unforeseen personal crisis such as acute illness, natural disaster, fire or flood. When disaster strikes, Coke Cares. Coke Cares is an employee disaster relief fund funded by Coca-Cola Bottling Compony Consolidated employees for CCBCC employees.  More information is available by calling 888.551.8807.

FamilyHope Employee Relief Fund provides individual assistance to Family Dollar Employees experiencing an emergency hardship or disaster.

Piedmont Natural Gas Employee Relief Fund provides individual assistance to Piedmont Natural Gas Employees experiencing financial hardship as a result of a disaster.

Careforce Disaster Relief Fund provides emergency financial assistance to employees of salesforce.com, inc. experiencing financial hardship as a result of a qualifying disaster.

Snyder's-Lance Associate Relief Fund provides individual financial asistance to Snyder's-Lance employees experiencing an emergency hardship or disaster.

WE Care Fund provides individual financial assistance for Wells Fargo team members experiencing an emergency hardship or disaster.
