The Foundation for the Charlotte Jewish Community provides assistance to donors and non-profit organizations with the establishment and administration of scholarship funds. With the assistance of our colleagues at Foundation For The Carolinas, who manage over 100 scholarship funds and award nearly $2 million in scholarship grants annually, a scholarship can be established for preschools, private K-12 schools as well as public and private institutions at graduate and undergraduate levels.
Scholarship funds are permanent endowments and are typically established by donors to provide support for individuals to attend a specific educational institution. They are often established to honor or memorialize a loved one. For information about creating a scholarship fund, contact the Foundation’s Executive Director, Phil Warshauer at 704.973.4544 or firstname.lastname@example.org
