The Board is comprised of nine members who serve as community representatives, nine who represent local Jewish organizations and a representative from Foundation For The Carolinas.
With more than 115 funds under management and cumulative resources in excess of
$79 million*, the Foundation for the Charlotte Jewish Community assists our individual donors and our community partners in furthering the quality of Jewish religion, life and culture in the greater Charlotte area and in Israel.
The Foundation strives to educate our Charlotte Jewish community about the functionality of a community foundation and how the organization benefits the Jewish community in Charlotte and surrounding areas. The Foundation works closely with donors on an individual basis to help attain their philanthropic dreams and objectives. Through the charitable actions of donors the Foundation assists our local Jewish organizations to build permanent financial resources to meet the future needs of the community.
