$10,000 to Animal Adoption League of York County to offset the cost of spay/neuter surgeries and rabies vaccinations for low-income families and senior citizens.
$25,000 to Cabarrus CARES to support educational efforts in conjunction with Kitty City, spay/neuter and veterinary care, and the rescue of unwanted and abandoned pets.
$10,000 to Community Partnership for Pets for educational efforts, spay/neuter surgeries and vaccinations.
$20,000 to Eyes Ears Nose and Paws to recruit, train, and equip foster families for assistance dogs-in-training and to purchase new assistance dogs for the program.
$25,000 to Horse Protection Society of North Carolina to offset the cost of new stand alone stall units.
$20,000 to Humane Society of Catawba County to fund a Community Outreach Educator who will educate children and families, facilitate humane education programs, and promote the importance of spay/neuter.
$50,000 to Humane Society of Charlotte and CMPD Animal Care & Control to underwrite a community awareness campaign to end euthanasia in Mecklenburg County.
$15,000 to Iredell County Humane Society to provide spay/neuter surgeries for feral felines and to rescue unwanted pets from animal control scheduled for euthanasia.
$5,000 to Second Chance Kitten Rescue to supplement the cost of veterinary work including spay/neuter surgeries and vaccinations on cats and kittens.
