Camp Forget-Me-Not is an overnight bereavement camp for children who have experienced the death of a loved one. Stanly County Community Foundation awarded a $5,000 grant to Hospice of Stanly County to help fund the camp in 2008.

In 2008, the Foundation’s geographic affiliates, family and private foundations, and special affiliated groups awarded $8,447,902.19 in competitive grants.

These grants are awarded to nonprofits in support of specific programs that have explicit objectives, a predetermined budget and take place within a defined time frame. The funds are restricted and must be used for the designated project.
