$5,000 to the Carolina Comfort Coalition to provide a home environment and assistance for terminally ill patients.

$5,000 to Covenant House of Statesville, Inc. to provide a home environment and assistance for terminally ill patients.

$20,000 to Crossroads Behavioral Healthcare to implement a system of care for children in Iredell, Surry and Yadkin counties.

$20,000 to the Exchange Club Child Abuse Prevention Center for a program through which children are allowed visitation by a non-custodial parent in a safe, closely supervised setting.

$14,500 to Fifth Street Ministries (Diakonos, Inc.) to provide for a bilingual individual to work with Spanish-speaking citizens at the facility as well as to provide outreach, education and prevention to the Latino population.

$4,000 to Harmony Elementary School to provide homework assistance to disadvantaged students and Latino students living in non-English speaking homes.

$5,000 to the Hospice & Palliative Care Center of Iredell County to improve the lives of chronically and terminally ill children and their families, and provide children and teens with the knowledge and skills needed to cope with the loss of a loved one.

$10,000 to Iredell Christian Ministries, Inc. to establish a central agency to receive community support, information and to register clients and their needs.

$10,000 to Iredell-Statesville Public Schools to develop a Fine Arts Academy, which will provide advanced-level fine arts courses for 11th and 12th grade students from all area high schools.

$4,000 to King’s Grant Retirement Community for musicians and storytellers to perform and teach traditional music to middle school children, special needs children and senior citizens.

$2,000 to the Lake Norman Orchestra to support music education programs in Mooresville Graded Schools.

$11,500 to Mitchell Community College to implement a polysomnography health program.

$16,000 to United Way of Iredell-Statesville to support the second year of the Latino Outreach program.

$9,480 to the United Way of Iredell-Statesville to support the Born Learning Campaign.
