Charitable Options

As the community foundation for Cherokee County, we share your commitment to building healthy communities and promoting the responsible stewardship of resources. Various options for charitable giving are available through the Foundation.

Donors can entrust their dollars to the Cherokee County Community Foundation board of trustees to increase their annual competitive grantmaking or choose other options such as opening a gift fund that can make an immediate impact in the community, establishing a permanent endowment to address an ongoing need or planning a gift that creates a legacy. Regardless of the giving method, the subsequent grant awards will make a difference in the community.

Our unique relationship with Foundation For The Carolinas allows specialized service teams of financial and philanthropic experts to meet the diverse needs of CherokeeCounty donors through three centers for giving:

Center for Personal Philanthropy
Designed to meet the unique needs of individual and families in the Carolinas.

Center for Nonprofit Sustainability
Established to support the management and administrative needs of area nonprofit organizations.

Center for Corporate Philanthropy
Tailored to meet the charitable initiatives of Carolina businesses.

The Foundation is supported by a team of professionals who provide personalized service and expert management to meet the needs of Cherokee County donors.
