2017 Annual Meeting

March 28, 2017; noon to 1:30 p.m.
Charlotte Convention Center

The 2017 Foundation For The Carolinas Annual Meeting is set for noon on March 28 at the Charlotte Convention Center! One of our region’s largest and most anticipated nonprofit gatherings, each year the Annual Meeting convenes nearly 1,500 attendees to celebrate philanthropy and civic leadership, and to hear from nationally acclaimed thought leaders.

Our keynote speaker for 2017 is Adam Foss, a leading advocate for criminal justice reform. As an assistant district attorney in Boston, Foss recognized the power of the prosecution to influence the lives of young offenders. He co-founded the Roxbury CHOICE Program, an initiative to turn probation into an opportunity for reformation rather than a lifetime punishment. A respected thought leader in his field, Foss was a featured speaker at the 2016 Aspen Ideas Festival and his popular TED Talk has generated more than 1.4 million views.
